The most difficult phase of a students life is the selection of career path. It is the time when he realizes that there are ample of choices available but the confusion is high. Especially after Class XII, students have wide choices to make , ranging from B.E./ B.Tech, MBBS, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BA, BA-LLB and BA(Economics). This is probably the most difficult question to be answered .
But the answer to this question is not that difficult if the student is aware of his career choice. The choice of the course will depend on his specialisation. The courses offered are the extension of the subjects which the students have opted in XII. For Example : the students who have taken Science will pursue MBBS, BDS,etc, or those who have taken Arts will have options in Archaeology, Humanities, Dance, etc.
The students who have opted for Commerce in XII, consider B.Com as the only available option for them . But its not the complete truth . The problem in our country is that, that there is a lack of knowledge. People feel that B.Com is the best available option for commerce. Its the partial fact .BBA (Bachelor Of Business Administration) is the better option for Commerce students.
BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) is different from the other undergraduate course .It is a professional course for all those students who aspire to become managers in the future,. It is also a platform for all the students who wish to pursue MBA (Masters in Business Administration) in future.
There are career options after BBA also. It is a preparatory base for all those who wish to pursue career in the corporate world .It gives them a foundation to be a future manager. BBA provides an opportunity to the students have a high flying career , not only in India but abroad too. It provides them with various avenues of new learning and inculcates the quality of leadership and innovation amongst them. It equips an individual to handle all the business related issues. It will make the individual competent to contribute to the economy of the country. BBA provides training in soft skills like leadership, teamwork, communication, decision making and strategy that makes them effective candidates for managerial positions.BBA. It also open the avenues for becoming an entrepreneur in the future.
BBA offers various opportunities in various sectors like automobiles, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, textiles , cement , steel , FMCG , Consumer Durables , Reality and Construction , Heavy Vehicles , Chemicals , Paints and Foods & Beverages amongst others and in the services sector such as Banking , Financial Services , Hospitality , Healthcare , IT & ITES and Airlines
So we can conclude that B.Com is meant for the students who wish to pursue career in Taxation, Finance, Research, etc. BBA is for the students who wish to pursue career in Corporates. . It is not just a challenging career , but it changes the whole perspective of an individual. It not only boosts his confidence level but also makes him ready to become a Manager.
